I thought you might like to see how our house is decorated for Christmas! We love nativities and angels!
Stained glass nativity made by my mom for our first anniversary
on a shelf in our living room
Olive Wood Nativity from Bethlehem
a gift from our friend Tim on a table in our friend hallway
Porcelain nativity inherited from my late mother-in-law Ann Knowles
on a shelf in our dining room / school room
Our basket of favorite Christmas books
Porcelain Christmas village with a papier mache guardian angel
(I love the symbolism of her peace banner resting over the town.)
This is atop the high cabinet in our front hallway
Cinnamon-scented pinecones on the shelf below the nativity set
(yes, I love antique books)
Our angel banner, a gift from my mother
And, oh yes, we do have a Christmas tree
bedecked with angels, snowmen, teddy bears and more!
My grandmother, Dorothy Hess, made all of the cross-stitch ornaments,
and my sister Barb and her kids made many of the others
