The Learner's Journal is a Weekly Lesson Planner and Resource Log. I hope these images might give you an idea of the format of the main weekly pages.

The durable covers are plastic over cardstock, available in several colors (see bottom of page). The journals are spiral-bound, so they open nice and flat! 

In the front of the book you will find a short Planning Guide for Parents, along with pages designed for recording Major Resources, Field Trips, and Special Projects & Accomplishments. 

There is one page spread per week.  The left hand page is pictured below.  Use this area to write assignments and check them off as they are completed. The three blank blocks can be used for extra subjects, lists of supplies needed, etc. At the bottom of the page is a Schedule of Events with blocks for Monday - Friday. You can write appointments, out-of-the-home classes, deadlines, and other things here.

On the right side of each weekly page spread there is a Resource Log for you to list what you have used this week: books, tapes, videos, kits, etc. This last column lets you add meaningful detail that the title alone might not convey.  There is a section for notes at the bottom of this page.
